Nursery
First United Methodist Church values children and provides a space for young children ages 0-preschool, in our nursery. The nursery is clean, safe, well furnished and meets all safety standards. All child care workers have received training and have been screened through the implementation of our Child Protection Policy.
The nursery is staffed each Sunday with our paid Nursery Coordinator, Julie Kirkpatrick as well as a rotating volunteer. Julie has a wealth of experience and background working with small children and spends Sundays creatively engaging with the babies and toddlers through play and art.
The nursery space has a changing table area with wipes and diapers. It also has a child sized restroom for those parents needing a space to help with toileting needs and comfortable seating for nursing mothers. There is also a television ready to stream our services so that parents and children can still participate in the Sunday Services.
