Christmas Season Sermon Series
Sundays, Beginning December 1 9:00 am and 10:30 am Prepare the Way for the Lord This four-week series tells the Christmas story through Jesus’ cousin, John the Baptist. For 2000 years Christians have turned to the story and message of John in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Here we explore the Advent themes of John’s life and ministry, and how John calls all followers of Jesus to prepare our hearts and lives for his coming. |

Christmas By Candlelight
Monday, December 2 7:00 pm Celebrate the birth of Christ with the women of FUMER at the annual Christmas by Candlelight program and dessert reception. Following the program enjoy desserts in the Fellowship Hall offered by hosts at seasonally decorated tables. RSVP is recommended by calling the church office. |

Holiday Grief Support
Wednesdays in November-December 2:00 pm-3:00 pm During the holidays grief can become especially challenging. Feelings of loss and loneliness are amplified amongst the Joy, Peace, Hope and Love all around us. FUMER offers a special group to support those struggling with loss during the holidays at a weekly grief support group. Meetings are held in the church library located on the main level. |

Hometown Holiday Concert
Sunday, December 15 4:00 pm Ring in the Holiday season with the sounds of Christmas! FUMER Chancel Choir joins the Eaton Rapids High School Chamber Choir and the FUMER Allegro Bell Choir for a “Hometown Holiday Concert.’ Concert takes place in the sanctuary. |

Live Nativity
Saturday, December 7 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Go back in time to the night jesus was born! What did it look like? What did it sound like? What did it smell like? Be immersed in the nativity with mary, Joseph and live animals. Event takes place on the Lawn and is open to all ages! hot Beverages and cookies will be served. This is a drop in event from 4-7pm. |

Blue Christmas
Saturday, December 21 6:30 pm Sometimes the sights and sounds of the holiday season can be overwhelming and difficult depending on life situations and circumstances. Grief, mental illness, strained relationships and so much more can bring more sorrow than joy. Blue Christmas is a service designed for those needing time to reflect and remember. It's more quiet and somber but still brings the good news of Christ’s birth. |

Tuesday, December 24 5:00 pm Family Service: A casual, interactive service for the whole family with glow candles and cake! Nursery available. Kids join in worship! 8:00 pm Traditional Service: An organ led service with bells, brass and choral hymns. Nursery provided, no other kids programming available. 11:00 pm Drama Service: A casual candlelight service with drama, music and readings. No nursery or kids programming available. |
