Randy Hildebrant is a Church and Community Worker assigned to God’s Country Community Ministries (GCCM) in the eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan with headquarters in Newberry. Randy coordinates and helps reach out to serve many needs that exist throughout the small communities served by the mission. A major ministry is coordinating groups of work campers that come to do home repairs, work on accessibility projects, maintain church properties and work around the ministry center. GCCM hosts a mobile food pantry monthly through Feeding America, provides food for Thanksgiving and Christmas and provides clothing and household items to needy area residents through its free store. Randy is married to Aletha and they have two adult children. Seven times since 2015 FUMER has sent Work Campers to GCCM planning is underway for another trip in August 2025. FUMER supports Randy at $2,500 each year.

 

Mark and Rebecca Smallwood have served at Red Bird Mission School (RBMS) in Beverly Kentucky for many years. Mark is retired as the music director at the school, but is still actively involved in many ministries at Red Bird Mission. Rebecca is still teaching elementary children at RBMS. They have two children, one of which has followed in his father’s footsteps teaching music at RBMS. FUMER supports the Smallwood’s at $2,500 each year.

 

Reverend Dr. Laura Elliott is our missionary at Soaring Unlimited Haiti. As the Executive Director of Soaring Unlimited Haiti, Rev. Dr. Laura Elliott directs the staff in Haiti remotely due to unsafe conditions. Soaring’s birth center has now marked some 320 babies born safe and healthy since its opening two years ago. Soaring is also serving hundreds of patients every month on the medical campus at both the women’s health center and the primary care clinic. In this 30th Anniversary year of Soaring Unlimited Haiti, this mission continues to offer hope and life-saving services for women, children, families and the elderly in this poverty-stricken developing nation of Haiti. Laura also promotes the sponsorship of school children and microloan programs to give women business opportunities. FUMER supports Rev. Dr. Laura Elliott at $2,500 each year.
