Eaton Rapids Weekend Food Backpack Program

Commonly known as
the "Backpack" Program

For more information, contact program coordinator, Cathy Taylor at [email protected]
An Administrative Assistant at ERPS, dedicated to seeing that all children are fed, shared a disturbing story. Early one morning, she saw a very young boy rummaging through the garbage looking for something to eat. She did what she could do for him, but isn’t it a shame that our neighbor’s children don’t have enough to eat?  They aren’t able to concentrate & learn with hunger gnawing away their attention.

You can help!
We volunteer as an Eaton Rapids Backpack Program group on the second Tuesday of every month at the Greater Lansing Food Bank in Bath MI. Our shift is 1:30 to 3:30 pm. Some of us carpool from the church & others meet us there. We can add your name to our email list & you’ll receive a reminder the weekend beforehand.

For more information, contact Cathy Taylor by phone (517) 231-2895.
