Jeannie Werkema (email) has been part of the office staff for 13 years. She is a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School and Western Michigan University. Her husband, David, is in car sales. Together they have 7 daughters, ages 19 - 27 and 2 grandsons. David and Jeannie enjoy golfing and traveling. Jeannie particularly enjoys fitness aerobics and walking, listening to Christian music and other types as well and preparing food (especially desserts) to share. The scripture she continually focuses on is from Matthew 6:34..."Do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself."
Jan Boardman (email) started working in the church office, June 23, 2001. She is a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School, worked for the State of Michigan and was an Administrative Assistant for 25 years at The Lansing State Journal. Jan has 2 daughters, a son and twin grandsons. Jan loves all animals, especially horses, likes to trail ride, read, knit, sew and travel. She read somewhere that “The secret of success is to be like a duck – smooth and unruffled on the top, but paddling furiously underneath.”
