 First United Methodist Church values children and provides child care for all Sunday morning worship services. Our nursery and other child care rooms are clean, safe, well furnished and meet all safety standards. All child care workers have received training and have been screened through implementation of our Child Protection Policy.
Two paid workers share major responsibilities, and a number of volunteers assist them.
8:15 Service – Child care is provided for up through age 5, year round, in the Infant Nursery.
9:30 Service – Child care is provided for infants and toddlers, year round with a paid nursery worker in the Infant Nursery. This is staffed by volunteers.
- Children ages 2 and older are involved in the Sunday School program during the school year.
- In the summer, infants – 2 year old children receive child care in the Infant Nursery.
11:00 Service – Child care is provided for infants through 2 years old in the Infant Room, utilizing paid staff. Child Care for ages 3-5 is provided year round in Room 114 in the Education wing, staffed by volunteers.
Child care for other church functions is available upon request, using our paid workers.
