One Sunday each month we receive a second offering that usually helps with domestic or world disaster. Sometimes it goes to a named disaster, other times it goes into a category we call "undesignated" giving. The giving for this ranges from $300 - $700 per month.
Hungry World Projects are chosen by the Missions Commission one month at a time. This is so that current needs can be met. This monthly offering always goes toward a hunger-related mission project. Natural disasters, refugee assistance, hunger at home and across the needy world ... UMCOR is always there! What is UMCOR? Our excellent United Methodist Committee on Relief ... where you know that every cent you give goes directly to the project. No overhead!
