Children's Sunday School – 9:30 AM
 Here at FUMER we are striving to share God’s Love with our children in a R.E.A.L way:
R – Relational
Children learn best when in a genuine caring relationship with their teacher. Faith is best “caught” rather than just “taught.”
E – Experiential
Children will experience the Bible through activities that let them “live” the story. This includes drama, art, games, role-playing, as well as Bible Study.
A – Applicable
Children will explore how Bible Stories apply to their own daily lives. They will learn how the lessons in the Bible are as valid today as they were in the 1st century.
L – Learner based
Children’s learning styles are important. Children will be given choices that allow them to learn in the way that is most effective for each one of them.
Children through age 2 yr. olds – Nursery
We will be offering more than just “babysitting” this year! The children will be experiencing a curriculum designed just for them. There is a friendly puppet named Cuddles who will help the children learn about how God loves them and has created a beautiful world for them.
Preschoolers – Room 113
Children will explore Bible Stories with Hands-On activities that are age-appropriate and fun! Preschoolers learn by experiencing their surroundings through their senses, through social interaction, and through physical movement. This curriculum allows the preschoolers to interact with the God who made this world they are so interested in exploring!
Grades K - 6th – 2nd floor educational wing
Children will explore Bible stories and truths through storytelling, drama, role-playing, art, science, games, music, and computers. The children will be divided into age grouping that match the public school: K-1st; 2nd-3rd; and 4th-6th. Note: 6th graders have the option to attend 9:30 and/or 11:00 classes!
11:00 Youth Bible Study – grades 6 thru 12
Youth will be exploring the Bible and theology in more depth. Confirmation material will also be covered. This will be a discussion based class using clips from contemporary movies, music, literature to help relate what we are studying in the Bible to the student’s own lives.
