First Church sees the use of the church and its facilities to further the vision that God has given to this congregation, which is to provide a loving home for individuals to come to know and serve the Lord Jesus Christ in our community and beyond.

• Please no smoking inside Church building.
• No alcohol or illegal drugs permitted on Church property.
• Areas of the building used (including chairs, tables, coffee pots) must be picked up when you leave.
• Food and beverages are to be confined to appropriate eating areas. Beverages with red dye (example: red punch) are prohibited in the new area.
• User must contact Church office to schedule a room, share any special room set-up, and provide the name and phone number of the contact person.
• Children should be confined to assigned room or be attended by a teenager/adult.

Church groups, Small Blessings, and Church Basketball League - no charge and these groups have priority.

Money making groups - There will be a 10% charge of their profits and First Church reserves the right to charge a custodial fee.

Church Rooms:

No set-up required - no charge.

Set-up for 30 or less:

Member/constituent $10
Non-member $25

Set-up for more than 30:

Member/constituent $25
Non-member $50

Sanctuary - for funeral $100.

Fellowship Hall:

Room set-up plus custodial:

Member/constituent $50
Non-member $100

Custodian fee: Minimum 2 hours at $16.00 per hour (Rounded to 1/4 hour thereafter)

Basketball Groups/etc. use of gym if church connection - use fee under review

Use of kitchen - cost $25. for U.M.W.

Funeral Luncheon: Member/constituent - No Charge
Non-member $50
This charge is in addition to U.M.W. luncheon donation

For athletic events:
No slam dunking or hanging from the basketball rims.
Athletic equipment is to remain in gym and put back in proper place.

If showers are used, they MUST be clean when you leave.
Only soft soled shoes are to be used.

Liability:

First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. The Church is not liable for accidents or injuries due to athletic or social events. I have read and understood the above policy. I agree to abide by its provisions.
